The new type of bend relief, “free-bend”, allows for tighter bends. Low weight cable assemblies reduce the moment-arm force in delicate probing applications and overall weight of the test setup.

D-COAX, Inc. has introduced a reconfigurable probe station for testing a wide range of devices with many types of probes. The probe holders can be moved and adjusted for short to tall devices and for probes that need to be positioned at an angle or with orthogonal layouts.
Testing can be done in front of the instrumentation because of a small foot print and allows shorter test cables to be used and more bench space for high performance equipment set-ups. TDR, VNA, 4-wire Probes work well with this probe station on wafers and small package devices because a combination of adjustability of the coarse and fine movements in X, Y, Z directions. The Model W4.0 X L6.5 probe station has a Z movement digital readout for repeatable probe touch-downs and a vacuum chuck for wafers or other devices.
The DP1.4 Differential probe by D-COAX is used for high frequency PCB differential impedance characterization or high-speed differential or single-ended electrical signal analysis and is an excellent and affordable solution. The probe is mounted on the compact rigid holding fixture that can be configured in two positions: horizontal position for nulling out probe-to-probe or testing and the vertical position for de-embedding the probe and testing. This compact configuration is designed for PCB boards or direct probing of Twinax or Coaxial cable. Because the probe uses un-coupled 50 ohm semi-rigid for each channel, differential or single-ended measurements are possible. High accuracy measurement are obtained by having low contact resistance and impedance control of the probe throughout all transitions.

Testing for small discontinuities on non-planar PCBs is now possible on a 40GHz VNA or very fast TDR because of the durable and repeatable probe design.
The probes deliver excellent uncorrected return loss and low insertion loss. The OmniJet probe 40 GHz insertion loss is better than -1.5dB and the return loss is better than -10.0dB at 40GHz.

D-COAX has introduced Testing and Engineering Services business segment to assist their customers with design, prototyping and production of the microwave interconnects. Tests Services include characterization or production testing in the Time Domain and Frequency Domain up to 65GHz. Engineering Services include designing, machining, and building product prototypes, RF/Microwave test fixtures, calibration kits and other custom microwave structures. D-COAX has a tool-room quality machine shop onsite for rapid prototyping and quick project turn around. Located in the greater metropolitan area of Portland Oregon.
D-COAX just launched a completely redesigned website with a new fresher and cleaner look. The new website features its new capabilities, as well as, the addition of new products and services and an online store. It has been designed to create a user-friendly experience with improved navigation that includes detailed drop-down menus, responsive design, valuable information about products and services and the latest company news.
